Lack of TV drives people bananas
Television (like the internet) is so inter-twined in our lives, that without them – it pretty much causes widespread panic attacks.
Today’s windshield tweet is a byproduct of the Cablevision /NewsCorp dispute.

FYI: If you live in hoboken and want Fox 5 hook up an antenna. You will get HD quality for free.

I just got off the phone with Cablevision. I told them I was going to disconnect. I managed to get $24.00 off my monthly bill for the next two years.

i find that very hard to believe unfortunately. i called them JUST LAST NIGHT and they did nothing for me (i threatened to switch). can it really vary by that much in one day? or one customer rep?

Posters #4: I don’t know what to tell you. You could give it another try. It could have been the rep. that I spoke with. I was told that as of today my monthly bill will go from $176 and change to $151 and change for the next 24months. It could have been what I said to her. The rep could have been treating me like a mushroom you know: keep me in the dark and feed me bullshit. I either got lucky or I got nothing.
