Juan Williams was fired for violating the code of ethics for journalists. Part of it reads:

“Journalists should:

— Avoid stereotyping by race, gender, age, religion, ethnicity, geography, sexual orientation, disability, physical appearance or social status.”

Hmmmm. Looks like my POS Blackberry has a hard time communicating with this site.

My reply was “As someone who has visited New Delhi in August I’m pretty glad it’s not Asian Indian Summer.”

Didn’t Rick Sanchez say something along the lines of “The individual has always had to struggle to keep from being overwhelmed by the tribe, etc…”? And didn’t he get fired for it?

Juan Williams got fired for expessing the feeling of many Americans. He was overwhelmed by his boss…… 😛 [quote comment=”199138″]Didn’t Rick Sanchez say something along the lines of “The individual has always had to struggle to keep from being overwhelmed by the tribe, etc…”? He got fired for violating the code of ethics for journalists. Since I can’t post that link on here (kind of ironic) part of it reads:

— Avoid stereotyping by race, gender, age, religion, ethnicity, geography, sexual orientation, disability, physical appearance or social status.

More Nietzsche: “There is often more bravery in containing oneself and passing by: in order to spare oneself for a worthier enemy!” 💡 The 4th ward has the Nov. battle going on….the full war will be in May 2011, when the entire 6 wards do battle.
