I hope this sets an important precedent. I hope this town ha met the Tipping Point against big, ugly, oversized projects. High rises may be the raison d^etre of the current administration and his developer backers, but they are not the will of this community. Let's celebrate the decision of the zoning board, who at last DID THE RIGHT THING.
I sincerely hope so too. The cynic in me fears that instead of a creating a new precident this is just a continuation of an old one: "Never wake a sleeping public before an election."

I certainly think for those of us who don't want to see this project return, a landslide vote YES for Parks on public question #5, and a victory for Dawn Zimmer (if you don't live in SW Hoboken, call someone who does) will go a long way.
That nit-wit Perry Belfiore? He was hanging out at Campos HQ last night with Russo. Amazing how the brain-dead flock together.
No, that's James Perry on the Zoning Board.
I still think the Church just didn't come up with the right amount of money.
I thought it was a done deal after the church was offered to the Russos for use as their Halloween House.

As a historic site Our Lady of Grace Church received funding for restoration? I am wondering why Holy Innocents has not done the same thing?

Westful, I believe this post refers to Zoning Board Member James Perry. Too many Perrys and Terrys in this town to keep track of.

I'd like to thank the dedicated folks who worked so hard and with such dignity to bring this project to the attention of the Hoboken community. Alan, Toni, Mrs. R and Helen M. just to name a few, thank you for your efforts on our behalf.
