I sincerely hope so too. The cynic in me fears that instead of a creating a new precident this is just a continuation of an old one: “Never wake a sleeping public before an election.”

I certainly think for those of us who don’t want to see this project return, a landslide vote YES for Parks on public question #5, and a victory for Dawn Zimmer (if you don’t live in SW Hoboken, call someone who does) will go a long way.

As a historic site Our Lady of Grace Church received funding for restoration? I am wondering why Holy Innocents has not done the same thing?

i’m almost speechless. i read the last posts and i had to take a breath. i will say that i am impressed and grateful to all those who had the passion to lend their voices and wisdom to the board and aid them in making the right decision. wow, mabye there is hope after all.
