60 Second Review: Midtown Post Office

10/12/2010:

Midtown Hoboken Post Office

I’ve dealt with all Hoboken Post Offices, primarily the Uptown Post Office. In most cases, my level of frustration for waiting goes beyond the recommended daily allowance.

However, there is one exception in the Mile Square. The Midtown Post Office located on Washington Street between 7th and 8th – I’ve always had a pleasant experience at. Friendly attendants, quick service – enough said. The way they ALL oughta be!

Hey, the mid-town po office is just as you describe…a great experience in this current age of general poor customer service. 😛

Will have to give this give this location a try. Waiting in line at a post office has to be one of the most frustrating things, it seems to take so long for each simple transaction. Sometimes I give a neighboring line-waiter an exasperated look (just for moral support) and I’ve actually gotten blank stares. I think it’s possible some people may not mind(?) Ah well…that’s another subject entirely.

The uptown post office is hands sown the worst!! There are always long lines, then when u finally reach the only teller working, you are usually met with a snoddy attitude. So unprofessional, that at one point my wife walked down to the main office on River and lodged a complaint against one seriously rude teller. Long story short, this woman no longer works at that branch! Ur right P, the midtown office is by far the best option of the 3!!
