Whiskey Tasting Benefit for Autism

Soccer Learning Center sponsors Autism Benefit

Many Hoboken families enjoy the Soccer Learning Center in Jersey City – and New Jersey is known for being a state that has one of the highest instances of Autism in the nation.

The Soccer Learning Center is launching a NEW program exclusively for kids with Autism in the Spring of 2011. The class will be open to children from Hoboken, Jersey City and Bayonne only – and they’re trying very hard to make this special class free of charge.

Benefit on November 4th

In order to do that – they need some community help. The kind folks at O’Connell’s Bar & Grill and Bayway World of Liquors (in Elizabeth) are taking the first step by participating in a special American Whiskey Tasting Event on November 4, 2010 @ 7pm. All proceeds from the event will benefit SLC’s Autism Soccer Project.

O’Connell’s is located at 111 Montgomery Street in Jersey City (map).

Tickets for this event are $50 (click here to purchase) – and you’ll be able to sample over 17 different Whiskies in the process. Be sure to arrange for safe transportation!
