Goon Saloon to rock Hoboken this week!

10/5/2010:

After this dreary, drizzly week starts wrapping up, and the weather improves – you may be feeling a bit antsy.

One great option for you this Thursday night, October 7th is to head over to Maxwell’s (11th & Wash) to check out the Goon Saloon!

Familiar member in Goon Saloon

You may also know one of the members of the Goon Saloon, Bryan Farley. Bryan has been a Hobokenite for 16 years, and used to be the owner of the Liberty Bar uptown. He’s also had stints at Brass Rail and the old Ted & Jo’s. These days, when he’s not banging the drums on stage with his band, he runs a company called Vinfinity (which preserves wine for the bar/restaurant industry).

Anyway – Goon Saloon will be playing on Thursday, along with special guests Nerve Tonic and No Time Lost. Tickets are $8 at the door.

Here’s a fun Goon Saloon song to check out, called “Cell Phone.” For those that are getting a bit overwhelmed with Twittering and constant contact with the digital world, you’ll surely dig this anti-technology rant!
