Blood Drive, Sunday Service and Willie McBrides

If you listen to the Hoboken411 Live Police and Fire Action Channel – you’ll hear the thousands of calls the Hoboken Volunteer Ambulance goes on each year. From basic slips and falls, to cardiac arrest, car accidents and much more. The dedication and effort they put into helping residents and visitors of Hoboken is something to appreciate.

Below are some upcoming events you attend, show your support and make donations.

Hoboken Fellowship Chapel Special Sunday Service & Blood Drive

Tomorrow – The Hoboken Fellowship Chapel (HFC) will be having a special Sunday service honoring the members of the Hoboken Volunteer Ambulance Corps in the Hoboken High School auditorium. The service will begin at 10:30am and last through noon. The HFC will also be hosting a Blood Drive that same day in the Hoboken High School Gymnasium in honor of HVAC. The blood drive will take place between the hours of 9am and 2pm. For more information contact Reverend Samuel Vazquez at 973-477-9072 or sign up at www.redcrossblood.org with sponsor code 14836.

Willie McBride’s Fundraiser September 15th

This coming Wednesday, September 15th – HVAC will be having a fundraiser at Willie McBride’s (616 Grand).

For a small $10 donation – you get a wrist band that entitles you to drink specials and half-price appetizers from 5pm until closing time. Willie’s will also be debuting their new “blast drinks” – such as the Willie’s Cosmo Cran Blast, Lemon Island Blast and 134 Whisky Run. These signature drinks will be only $5 all night. $2 drafts as well.

The Hoboken Volunteer Ambulance Corps is the last all-volunteer EMS left in Hudson County, and needs your support!
