K.C. Kids Consignment Shop
K.C. Kids completes move to 108 4th St. in Hoboken, NJ
Took a while – but K.C. Kids Consignment Shop finally completed their move from 463 5th Street to their new location at 108 4th Street. The old spot is now currently for rent (it’s next door to that new high-end hair salon Crew Hair Studio, FWIW…)
This new spot close to the Avenue will likely be good for business (depending on the rent differential). Good luck in the new location, KC Kids!

K.C. Kids Consignment Shop – Hoboken, NJ
9/8/2010:
Kids clothing shop features consignment and resale
K.C. Kids Hoboken is a new kids clothing store that’s just about ready to open their doors to the public. They’re just waiting on final Hoboken “paperwork” to get the green light.
The shop, located at 463 5th Street (between Adams and Jefferson) will specialize in dealing with kids’ clothing – and help parents who either would like quality clothing for less than retail – or to recoup some of the money spent once the kids (quickly) outgrow their outfits. They also will sell other clothes related to child bearing (Maternity, etc.)
Naturally, they don’t seem to deal with “run of the mill” kids clothing – but rather designer “brand name” labels that will illicit “oohs and ahhs” at the next baby party you attend. It can be your secret that you bought it for less!
In addition to just clothes, other knick-knacks like strollers, bags, high-chairs, shoes, and a sea of other items people shell out billions of dollars for each year will pass through these doors.
To prep you about what to expect, see their consignment guidelines here.

Good idea. Surprised one didn’t pop up sooner.

Why do children wear designer labels when they’re just gonna get anything from dirt to milk to puke to poop on their clothing?
I love childrenswear. I worked in the field years ago and really enjoyed it. It was a field more interesting and fun and less cutthroat than adult wear for sure. And think it’s nice to offer certain kids’ items at prices cheaper than retail.
But designer clothing for the wee ones? It just baffles me.
