411 Mascot Oscar to make TV Debut

9/7/2010:

Filmed for History Channel Modern Marvels episode

Move over Snooki and Cake Boss – the Hoboken411 Mascot Oscar will be hitting the airwaves this Fall!

Two weeks ago, the History Channel came to Hoboken, NJ to film part of a Modern Marvels episode over at the Hoboken Dog Wash (163 4th Street).

Local Dog Groomer Erica Li was kind enough to extend the invite to “Mister O.” and he gladly accepted. Granted, he’ll probably have two minutes of airtime – but that’s OK – because he was well-behaved during his bath for the first time!

The episode is about the latest “Coin Operated Machines,” including the modern “K9000 Dog Wash” in the lineup.

They anticipate the show to air sometime in November – but you can also catch a clip here on 411 afterward as well!

My kids don’t watch much television, but they are definitely going to want to see this. My little girl thinks Oscar is the sweetest dog in Hoboken.

Great news! Too bad he was well-behaved. Could’ve had a spin off!
