Jewish Graffiti in Hoboken

8/19/2010:

Have you heard or seen this phrase?

Spoke with a Hoboken411 reader yesterday who told me she saw some questionable graffiti on the junction box outside Maxwell’s Bar at 11th and Washington Street. She mentioned that it may have been anti-semitic. It read “I (star of david) Jew York!!”

Upon examination it seemed to have been written by a fan of the Jewish religion – not the opposite. Sunrays and a smiley face makes it seem like a friendly message to me.

PS – if you have images collecting dust on your camera or hard drive – send them in for eventual inclusion on Hoboken411! Please state how you’d like to be credited in your email, and a description – if desired!!

Not “did you eat”, but “Jew eat”? Good reference. One of the funniest movies ever…
I did not see this. As Woody Allen would ask “D’Jew”?
