10/10/2007 Ribbon Cutting:
Mayor Roberts stopped by to meet Garden’s Bloom owner Jacqueline Jones, tour her shop, and cut the official grand opening ribbon this morning. The Mayor also reminisced about how he was born and raised over at 522 Garden St., and remembered the florist that was there when he was a kid.
Congrats again on a fine neighborhood addition!
They’re having a little reception today from 12-5 in case you want to swing by and get some beautiful flowers or a nice plant. A great day to meet your new neighborhood florist! Tell Jacqueline I said hi!
Garden’s Bloom officially opened last week, and had their grand opening event this past Sunday. Delivery up and down the waterfront, floral arrangements of any kind, gift baskets and much more. Read press release and see a couple more pictures after the jump.
Welcome to the neighborhood, Jacqueline & Garden’s Bloom!
Just in time for the fall bridal season, the long awaited opening of Garden’s Bloom floral design studio officially takes place September 21st at 500 Garden Street in Hoboken. Jacqueline Jones, Founder, Owner and Creative Director, is the guiding force behind Garden’s Bloom floral design studio, which has become one of Hoboken’s most prestigious and innovative floral design companies and the florist of choice for many Hoboken, Jersey City and Edgewater residents. Armed with innate talent, a true passion for the job and years of business experience, Ms. Jones is building Garden’s Bloom floral design studio into a powerhouse floral design company.
Garden’s Bloom floral design studio creates signature modern arrangements, impressively arranged, using the finest and the freshest flowers available in the world: tulips and lilies from Holland, luscious Japanese peonies, aromatic Ecuadorian roses, sweet and seductive tuberose from France, monstrous elephant ears, vibrant amaryllis, and dazzling exotic orchids. We also offer wonderful plants: topiaries, African violets, bromeliads, to name a few. Customized designs — made with love, style and grace — are a hallmark of Garden’s Bloom floral design studio, as is top-quality service at every turn. Ms. Jones is a true romantic at heart and the creations at Garden’s Bloom floral design studio are a treasure to behold.
The beautifully designed interior in shades of yellow and green with mahogany and red oak accents is well appointed with furnishings you might want to purchase for yourself. The studio is clean and modern, and speaks to a discerning clientèle with an uncanny understanding of the modern life, beautifully and artistically lived. Garden’s Bloom floral design studio is also the destination for luxurious home fragrances by Agraria, as well as modestly priced gifts. And, our team will happily accommodate unique, special order gift baskets.
They will be hosting their “Grand Opening” on Sunday, September 23rd from 12pm-5pm and all residents of Hoboken are welcome. Refreshments will be served.
Silly me. I had this postcard sitting on my desk for over a week, and I didn’t put 2+2 together. The place will be called “Garden’s Bloom”.
Here’s their website: www.gardensbloom.com.
I bet taking a taxi to this place will create some confusion.
This location was a flower store for many years. Some area residents believe it’s going to be a flower shop once again. It’s an ideal location considering a hospital and church are nearby.
More random fluff. At this location on the northwest corner of 5th and Garden across the street from Moran’s. They’ve renovated the building and it appears to us that some kind of retail space will be available. Not sure if any Hoboken realtor has begun marketing this location yet since it’s a ways away from being completed.
Any bets as to what it might become, if anything?
