Happening now (as of 8:41pm) in Hoboken…
Man with handgun wanted for shooting
Hoboken Police were notified by Jersey City Police that a white male, approximated 6′ tall, curly hair, wearing a black hoodie, turquoise shorts, and flip flops – was last seen running towards Hoboken on Jersey Avenue. He was believed to be in possession of a handgun, and is wanted for a previous shooting in Jersey City.
Police are now canvassing the area near the Skyline building and Hoboken Beer and Soda Outlet.
Smoke condition at 5th and Washington
At nearly the same time, the owners of Hoboken Daily News at 500 Washington Street called in a heavy odor of smoke in the floors above. Hoboken Fire Department is on scene investigating.

Update: Jersey City Police notified HPD that they picked a bald man, wearing a curly wig, and a woman’s dress. However, no confirmation whether this was the suspect in question.
The source of the smoke at 5th and Wash is believed to have possibly been fireworks in the hallway of the building, but no working fire was discovered.

Thank you Hoboken 411 for telling me what the cops refused to tell me. This “investigation” is going on right outside my house. I’ll sleep well knowing there is a drag queen with a gun roaming around my neighborhood. Makes me think of a song…

I have an update… I just saw the police scoop up what looks like a black wig in front of Mola Iron Works (on Paterson Ave). Now we just have a trannie in a dress and a black hoodie.

hmmmm…. a 6 foot tall, white male, with curly hair, wearing turqoise shorts and flip flops…this describes about 95% of hoboken’s male population. In other words, there’s a crazy yuppie with a handgun running around Hoboken… his portfolio must’ve taken a dive.

paws and moe you would not want to go hands with taxi..never talk the talk unless u can walk the walk he she is a scrapper.. it hits like a bull…hoboken is not a great city once was but not anymore.. when she he hits you when you wake up your cloths will be out of style..best to ignore it.

Have you experienced Taxi’s wrath first hand. I now know who you guys are talking about. I made Taxi cry once. He was sleeping in the hallway of my building one morning and startled me. I yelled at him to get out and I swear I saw tears in his eyes.
