Four dogs need new homes…

6/22/2010:

Yes, you want a loving dog in your home!

Today’s featured dogs for adoption post has four pooches in need of caring homes.

Ziggy

“Here is Ziggy. He’s one and a half years old, neutered, and has had all his shots. He is great with other dogs and people, he just needs an owner who is responsible and has time for him. He’s presently located in a small apartment in Brooklyn, but is looking to be relocated as soon as possible before the owner takes him to a shelter. Please help me try to save Ziggy!”

To adopt Ziggy – please contact Jeff at Cornerstone Pets (201-653-4644), and he’ll put you in touch with the person currently fostering the dog.

Frankie and Buttercup

These two little doggies come from Laura Lenoci of Liberty Humane Society. An unusual change from the myriad of pit-mixes they have available. Frankie is a Poodle mix, and Buttercup is a Pomeranian. You can contact Laura at llenoci@aol.com (or 973-573-1315) for more specific details about these guys!

Jenks

Can’t have a dog adoption thread without the sad, unwanted Pit Bull Terrier mix! It’s a shame that so many of them end up in shelters. Jenks is even unluckier – because studies show that black dogs are even harder to find good homes for! Check out his profile on Petfinder – and you can also contact Liberty Humane Society at 201-547-4147 for more information.

Frankie’s face and expression kill me- what a hilariously sweet little guy! Hope he finds a good home…

Poor Frankie man, he looks strung out. I’d take him, but have no room.
