First Movies under the stars show likely postponed

Tonight’s inaugural 2010 Movies Under The Stars showing of Up in the Air starring George Clooney looks doomed before it starts, as rain is predicted all afternoon and tonight.

Those looking to get their HPD autographed “$2,000 Zero Tolerance for drinking fine wine in public at Pier A Park” tickets will have probably to wait until better weather. If the movie is indeed postponed, will announce makeup date later…

Is the HPD that strapped for revenue this year?

How is this legal? In New York City the “Open Container/Consumption of Alcohol on Streets Prohibited” fine is $25 and can be paid by mail. I thought the Zero Tolerance laws were in effect only for Saint Patrick’s Day?
