Whole Wheat Pizza in Hoboken

Definitely possible to get great whole wheat pizza in Hoboken!

Over the past several months, Hoboken411 has received a number of inquiries about Whole Wheat Pizza in the Mile Square. As people become more conscious of their health, and what they put into their bodies, healthier alternatives to common favorites rise in demand. Of course, one such delicacy is PIZZA.

I’ve heard mixed reviews about diets such as Dr. Gott’s “No Flour No Sugar” regimen, which makes most flour-based bread products such as pizza a bit no-no.

Now I’ll be honest with you, the few places in Hoboken that I sampled the whole wheat pizza from (which I won’t name until I try a second time) left me deeply disappointed. Generally dry and tasteless. That is, until I tried the whole wheat pie from Margherita’s last week. Everything was done right. The crust had a nice crispness, wasn’t too thick and gummy, and of course the sauce, cheese (and onions I added) complemented the pie perfectly. Me and my dining companion finished the medium pie on site.

Are you a whole wheat pizza fan? Do you recommend any places in Hoboken?

All I eat is whole wheat and I don’t know the difference anymore.

Four L’s, Napoli’s, and Brooklyn Bread all have great whole wheat pies.
