“When is Mike Lenz’s seat up for reelection?”

ThomasPaine, Mr. Lenz has never been elected councilperson. He was appointed by his council colleagues to fill Dawn Zimmer’s seat when she was elected mayor. He is expected to run this November to complete the term, but I am not sure if he has made an official announcement.

When is Mike Lenz’s seat up for reelection?

The Fourth Ward, and Hoboken, are in dire straits if he continues in public office. He briefly has moments of public service, but then he lapses back into some sort of private agenda. After watching him during the last two council meetings, on the garage issue, I am questioning whether or not he is serving his district.

Has he ever voiced a concern about the effect on the 4th Ward, with the added municipal vehicles that would travel through the Ward to the Pino site?

This is not a statement for any would-be candidate.

I’m leaving town in a couple of hours, but if anyone is going to be at the meeting, could you perhaps suggest that the city “repurpose” half of the Board of Education building for the municipal garage? What really goes on in that huge space anyway? Gut it out and turn it into a garage!
