Name the Hoboken Seal!

5/2/2010:

When you’re a longtime Hoboken resident, events like today’s Arts & Music Festival become somewhat routine. So for those that strive more extraordinary things…

Baby Seal makes another appearance in Hudson River

For the past two months, a baby seal has been spotted in the Hudson River, near the Lackawanna Terminal.

Hoboken411 reader Ben spotted the “friggin seal” today near the walkway that connects Hoboken to Jersey City.

Seals were also spotted in other spots in the Hudson River this year, like the Upper West Side.

What would you name this cute seal?

I like the name Washington. Seal is the first I’ve seen take up residence here. So, George Washington II.

I vote to name it Snookie. Although I think this guy may be a bit thinner. Certainly less orange
