Cinnamon Snail Vegan Food Truck
4/2/2010:
Cinnamon Snail – Hoboken’s only vegan food truck!
After much finagling over the past couple weeks – the Cinnamon Snail Vegan Food Truck is back in Hoboken!
There’s been some issues with local businesses and the newest mobile food vendors such as Adam Sobel’s Cinnamon Snail – and the very popular Taco Truck. Many local brick and mortar establishments get quite pissed that a food truck is allowed to even enter the mile square city (remember Rome Pizza vs. Ali’s Lunch Truck?)
Regardless – the Cinnamon Snail is an unbelievable (and welcome) addition to Hoboken. I’ve heard phenomenal things from multiple Hoboken residents – and while I only shot the video below on my way to another destination – I had the chance to try a (gasp) vegan strawberry donut. I could try an use silly phrases (like OMG! or OMFG!) – but this one item I tried was so beyond incredible, I can say it’s worth the extra money to splurge on products like these, over inferior products at a lesser cost. Perhaps this could be my epiphany to finally eating healthy? Mr. Sobel has like 0.5% body fat!
Be on the lookout for the Cinnamon Snail most Thursdays through Sundays. I had the menu for you guys, but misplaced it – and will upload next week! In meanwhile – tune in to the Cinnamon Snail Twitter feed to get more updates!

All these food trucks are making me nostalgic for my summer at Oxford. Now I want a jacket potato truck. Nice baked potato with a wide range of things to top it off with. I was tight food budget while at Oxford and lived on pizza and potatoes.

Great video. Love the biodegradable utensils. Love that someone in this town has taken the time to make a real freakin’ doughnut, too. Can’t wait to try it out!

I spent a summer there living on a shoestring as well. My favorite was an Indian place that sold hamburgers, and they would ask if you wanted it “with or without a fried egg on top”.

Whenever I ordered up some room service overseas, they love to put the egg on the burger!
Oxford was my safety school in case I didn’t get into Community College of Baltimore County, or Rushmore.

…the secret…. I don’t know….. I guess you’ve just gotta find something you love to do and then… do it for the rest of your life. For me, it’s going to Rushmore.
