Sobsey’s has the best fruits and veggies in town. Not cheap but worth it, as far as I’m concerned. Plus, they are really good guys who know a lot about the products they sell.
Yes, Garden of Eden has tons of good stuff but they sell waxed apples, which shouldn’t be necessary – I guess GOE doesn’t turn over their stock as much as Sobsey’s.

Agreed. Sobsey’s rocks!!!
GOE fruits look great, but go bad 36 hours after purchase.

The salmon I bought there on multiple occasions was really good.

I bought a salmon fillet from here once and baked it. Very good quality and the guy in the store was nice and helpful. They also have an interesting variety of vegetables. I just think the fish was a bit pricey, that’s all. But the location is convenient if you live downtown. It’s a bit out of the way for me.

Ive bought chicken and some meats, as well as fruits and veggies, cheese, butter and coffee. Always the best quality and beyond. Even their garlic is excellent.
