Republicans Speaker Series Dinner

3/19/2010:

An interesting political dinner with a well known guest talking about a problem which is prevalent in our country, cities and states: Voter Fraud.

Republicans of Hoboken hold first Speaker Series

Topic: How Voter Fraud Threatens Our Democracy

“We are privileged to have as our guest speaker, John Fund. John is a well known journalist for the Wall Street Journal and the best selling author of “Stealing Elections: How Voter Fraud Threatens Our Democracy”.

Many New Jersey citizens are aware of the persistent problem of voter fraud in Hoboken, Hudson County and parts of New Jersey. We have also seen what voter fraud can do, not only in our local elections, but in our national elections, as well. We invite and encourage everyone to attend this event and learn how voter fraud effects the Democratic process.

It promises to be an engaging and informative social event!

Date: March 30, 2010
Guest Speaker: John Fund
Location: Amanda’s Restaurant (908 Washington Street)
Time: 6:00 -7:00 check in, registration – 7:00 pm dinner, speaker, book signing

That’s a nice painting – please tell me more!

Figured you’d ask that question!

I was lucky enough to catch local NJ painter Chris Kappmeier, who’s oil paintings hang on the walls of many Hoboken businesses and residences.

You can check his website at www.chriskappmeier.com, shoot him an email at chriskappmeier@yahoo.com or use the old fashioned method of calling him at 201-460-1599.

I wonder if he’ll talk about how the GOP and the Supreme Court conspired to hand Bush the 2000 election.

christ, freewheelin, that was 10 years ago! get over it!!

i wonder if he’ll talk about what a fraud Barack Obama is – a man who promised to bridge the partisan divide and bring “hope and change” to Washington, and has turned out to be one of the most partisan politicians of the last 25 years.

I wonder if this is the artist I saw painting on Washington street yesterday. The one he was painting was really nice…

There are 2 people that paint on Wash St. I saw Chris yesterday myself, he had on suspenders. There is another guy too equally as talented.

I spoke with Chris while taking those pictures – and he’s been able to make a living painting for many years now. Not sure what the going prices are in the art world these days (this particular piece would cost you $1400 to purchase) – but he said “business is down in this climate…” So he’s trying much much harder now.
