The Shades team seemed nice enough, but they had these two strikes against them from the start: concurrently trying to open a restaurant in Hoboken while simultaneously trying to deal with what goes on at 720 Monroe Street management. Yet they still held on for years and years. In the last few rounds they also had to deal with a tanking economy. What a perfect shitstorm! It’s a shame – bet they lost a fortune. If that is not a pocket license it is worthless.

Dil and Jerry (Shades team) were the clowns upstairs from 720 Monroe Street management. They couldn’t run the building upstairs or the restaurant downstairs. The entire building is in ruins because of their foolishness.

Dil and Jerry got what they deserved. They let Barry Campbell rob and ruin the restaurant and building. At least they finally fired Barry.

They always lied and cheated others and they are now going down the drain together.

Good luck Dil and Jerry. Good luck Barry finding another job.

Wow. They fired Barry? Do you know who is in ownership or in charge at 720 Monroe St now?

I see! I was under the impression Shades was an independent for a time at least at the beginning, not another Colpro (720 Monroe mgmt.) shell company. But it makes sense. Too many pies, not enough fingers.

If the license can travel to another location (pocketed) it will go for a lot more than $150,000.

What a deal! 150K for a license the former owner could not leverage to make enough to survive with.
