Great Ron Paul interview on CNBC

2/26/2010:

Why doesn’t the media take Paul seriously?

A Hoboken411 reader saw this interview that CNBC did with Congressman Ron Paul at the beginning of the week and said:

“Just watch how these liberal CNBC scumbags try and make Ron Paul sound like a fool. He won the CPAC straw poll. Just like every other Republican candidate for president. They say how important winning that poll is when McCain or Reagan won it but when he wins it they down play the importance… Horrible.”

I think Ron Paul’s awesome! There was some activity surrounding this guy at Stevens a while back, during the 2008 campaign. Student activity, I mean.

He says what we need to hear, I think.

wha? i thought Paul made a lot of good points in the interview, such as his thoughts about the two undeclared wars (thanks a whole bunch, Dubya). did i miss something condescending?

the original poster sounds like a typical teabagger – everything is an outrage – and i just can’t take it seriously.

He’s coming up on that liberal CNN right now.

Um, a lot of the “conservative scumbags” at CPAC booed Ron Paul when he won the straw poll. Right-way talk show hosts like Sean Hannity have consistently disparaged Ron Paul, a true fiscal conservative, and his supporters. Did you watch any of the 2008 Presidential Primary debates and see how the media, Fox News included, and the other Republican candidates would laugh at Ron Paul when he was the only one up there talking any sense?

I really like Ron Paul and I don’t think the “liberal CNBC scumbags” were trying to make him look like a fool. It’s called answering questions. Must everything be a political spin?
