African Issues Lecture
“On Thursday, February 18th at 5:30pm, the library will launch a new monthly lecture series covering a variety of topics to stimulate the mind and encourage conversation.
Our inaugural lecture will commemorate Black History Month by exploring the social, political and economic history of African Americans. Our guest lecturer will be Wale Ajibade of the educational nonprofit organization African Issues, whose aim is to foster international collaboration on African development through informational and cultural exchange. For this lecture, we will have an introduction by Ajibade, screen the documentary 500 Years Later, and conclude with a discussion.
Please sign up with the reference department as space is limited… please call 201-420-2347.”
