City Hall Closed & Travel Delays
Looks like you’ll be walking or cabbing!
All NJ Transit Bus Service suspended
“Bus service in Northern New Jersey (including bus service to/from New York) will be suspended as of 7pm.”
In today’s “no-brainer” snow-flavored morning slurpee… we have a Hoboken411 Live Snow Cam you can kill a few minutes on, plus some obvious reminders…
You should really stay home today
Unless your job entails saving lives, creating brilliant time-saving products, or saving us money – your best bet is stay home today and catch up on your DVR, housekeeping, long lost friends and personal hygiene.
But if you really need to venture out in today’s Blizzard – be super careful on the roads when driving! Also public transit is going to be a mess as well.
- BUS: NJ Transit says customers should expect delays, detours and possible service suspensions today due to the severe winter storm. Please plan accordingly.
- And NJ Transit is cross-honoring all passes and tickets system-wide today. How nice of them!
- If there are any issues with the PATH – just subscribe to their PATHAlerts to stay up to date.
- Of course, the the NJ Waterway Ferries will be running on schedule – but if you need to take those fruity buses across Manhattan, you may run into some delays.
Hoboken City Hall Closed
The Hoboken city website said “as a result of the storm, City Hall will be closed today.”
Which is great, because for those of you who have a snow day happy that you finally have some time to take care of those nagging things at City Hall (like parking tickets, dog licenses, and other city business) will be out of luck!
