Football season in the trash!

Hoboken Photo of the Day – 1/26/2010

I thought it was very unusual that football yard markers would be sitting in the trash in Hoboken, NJ. I took this picture back in December, and intended on using it with a caption saying “This must be how the NY Giants feel after their season went in the trash…!” But never got around to it…

Now I can say it for essentially all northeast National football teams. Although, a bit hat tip to the NY Jets for getting as far as they did. Not bad, rookie Sanchez!

At least we still have the Super Bowl boxes!

PS – if you have images collecting dust on your camera or hard drive – send them in for eventual inclusion on Hoboken411! Please state how you’d like to be credited in your email, and a description – if desired!!

I’m from New Orleans, there will be no place more fun to watch the game than that city. The hotels are selling out, people that are from there are all coming home to watch the game there.

I became a fan after the Giants failed to make the playoffs

Been a fan since day one, my parents had season tickets the first season up until 90. They saw Tom Dempsey’s field goal. I grew up right by the training camp and would sneak on and watch them practice.
