Seeing that we were discussing squirrels yesterday, Hoboken411 reader Barbara sent in what she thought was a perfectly appropriate Hoboken Reader Photo of the day!

“This was taken the beginning of January 2010, in our Hoboken backyard. Instead of throwing out the pumpkin after Thanksgiving we thought it would be nice to watch both the squirrels and backyard birds partake of it. Wonder if “our” squirrel will leave any seeds, to sprout next spring…?

Hee hee. Aw, so cute! It’s amazing to watch what these little guys find pleasures in. So simple.
And when I say I find squirrels cute, I mean these ones– not squirrely humans.

Nice to see the pumpkin being put to good use. It’s a waste when these just get tossed in the trash after Halloween.
