[Bonus! An second week of the “What’s Next for Hoboken?” series here on Hoboken411…]

If shoes are not the answer; what is?

Well it’s been a while since Shoeuphoria has left the space at 204 Hudson Street – so what would be a good fit for this area of Hoboken?

Oh, and I also so what appeared to be some kind of shelving, dividers or other retail fixtures inside the place, so perhaps it’s already rented? Does anyone know?

I have to admit. I miss Shoeuphoria. I loved that store. Midtown why can’t you re-locate there? I haven’t made it into your store yet. What is the location again? I will be taking care of a cockatiel in the west side of town over MLK weekend. I’ll try and stop by.

Midtown, I could definitely see your shop there now that you mention it. You’d for sure attract plenty of foot traffic with your designer goods.

There are other spaces we are eye balling. The current location is simply a test to see what response we got. We like to test water before we go for a swim. There are other spaces in Hoboken and we need more space. The demand is there for sure. We are also looking to put a spot in JC or West Village as well. And ShoeGal, nice wedges in your pic, loubs?

the answer = empty storefront space. the effect of the commercial real estate bomb is just starting to take effect. in my opinion things are going to get alot worse before they get better
