Julie Tecza, Organizer for Hoboken’s Quality of Life Coalition wants everyone to know about this “Green Drinks” event at Maxwell’s (11th and Washington) Thursday, December 17th at 6:30pm!

No, not your St. Patty’s Day Green, either!

QLC’s Committee for a Green Hoboken invites you to join us for our Green Drinks event!

What: People who are interested in environmental issues meet up at informal sessions known as Green Drinks. Expect a lively mix of professionals from business, non-profits, academia, and government. It’s a great way of catching up with people you know and also for making new contacts. Everyone invites someone else along, so there’s always a different crowd, making Green Drinks an organic, self-organizing network. These events are very simple and unstructured, but many people have found employment, made friends, developed new ideas, done deals and had moments of serendipity. It’s a force for the good and we’d like to help bring it into your world!

When: Thursday December 17th 6:30-8:30 (with drink specials for our event!)

Where: Maxwell’s (Washington and 11th in Hoboken) in the front lounge area
