Google Maps finds stuff

12/14/12009:

You ever find wacky stuff on Google Maps?

Take a look at this “NYC Recent Incident” which appeared on Google Maps (Street View) a week or so ago – some collapsed man at the corner of 29th Street and Park Avenue in New York City. Hey, do you recognize that bald-spotted loser gawking at the helpless man? One Hoboken411 reader said it was someone from the Mile Square.. haha!

Regardless of the staring bystanders – hope the downed man was eventually OK!!

Any Hoboken Easter Eggs on Google Maps?

So I figured I’d browse around Google Maps Street View myself, curious if there were any strange captures in the Mile Square.

Well, what do you know! I found something that looks a bit interesting in front of City Hall – and I think it might be related to that “Missing Millions” parking meter debacle!

What interesting nuggets can YOU find on Google Maps?

Why are all the faces blurred in the pic but not the guy with a denim coat on?

Anyone else notice that Tolls Brothers has had 11th Street and Maxwell lane removed from Street View and Google Maps?

Not “wacky” but I found that big five-way intersection where the martians came out of the ground on the stillborn War of the Worlds (think Nork and not Bayonne).

But for real google map hilarity google “street view funny” and check the image results.
