Cheers from Three A’s Bar!

12/14/2009:

I’ll drink to that for sure!

Three A’s bar at 5th and Grand streets deserves great accolades not only from Hoboken411, but many residents of the mile square city. From the excellent food, to the great wait and bar staff, Cosmo and his crew at this incredible example of how a neighborhood bar & restaurant should be run get high marks across the board.

Here’s just a typical Friday night at the bar.

(Hey, he looks similar to that shot from outside East LA back in November!)

Have a cold one for Hoboken411 the next time you’re out!

For excellent food and fine wine my favorite is Three A’s and for a nice cold one and true Hoboken flavor, The Wilton House. Cheers!

one of my two favorite places in hoboken, when the worst thing you can say about the owner(cosmo) is he`s too nice say`s alot, very little employee turn over, so if your a regular you do feel like part of the three a`s family(as we call it), great food, great service, and don`t be afraid to venture off the menu if they have it they will make it just ask, i.e. chicken parm, my fav, and before anybody say`s anything NO, I DO NOT WORK THERE!!!!!

Three A’s has a great burger and French Onion soup for a raw winter day. I agree, a great local hangout.

Willy McBrides before 7PM is usually a pretty good spot, too. It’s quiet and the only people there are the regulars including Mark’s goon squad down at the end of the bar drinking their Magners on ice (excluding Sundays during football season). Great place to watch a Saturday baseball game in the summertime.

thanks midtown, love few cold ones and nice casual conversation with out all the loud music, obnoxious people and over crowding…

three a’s is the place, the other bar I mentioned doesnt have loud music, but it does have some loud people. Three a’s is more like a restaurant setting with a bar. Good mature friendly crowd. Check it out, have a cold one and if I am wrong, tell me. I think other posters will affirm to this recommendation
