Hoboken Breakfast Nuggets – 12/5/2009
Cop car joy rides, more on the “nameless sad dog,” and luxury housing price reductions are today’s AM specials!
Hoboken Cop Car used in lieu of tax cab!
An anonymous reader reported that around 2:30am this morning a female with black hair and black skirt decided to steal a Hoboken Police Car while they (you guessed it) got their coffee at the Dunkin’ Donuts at 7th and Washington Streets. She didn’t go far, as the squad car was recovered shortly thereafter at 11th and Bloomfield. Mischievous joy-rider still at large!
Sad dog gets a name, but still needs a home!
The poor dog we talked about on Monday now has a name: “Mike.” But is still in need of a home. The owner of Midtown Authentic couldn’t take him – so put your feelers out there!
Luxury Living just became cheaper!
Residences at the W Hoboken Hotel had a bit of a price reduction. These exclusive waterfront tower condos dropped in price from $1.995M to $1.795M this week – a 10% price drop! If you were on the fence, waiting for the right moment – now may be the best time!
Holiday Shopping at Monroe Center
Don’t forget about the excellent Holiday Studio Tour at the Monroe Center tomorrow from Noon to 6pm. Unique gifts and creations from local artists!
