Hoboken Photo of the Day – 11/23/2009

I didn’t dare visit this website called GrittyKittyCam.com – but it’s obvious many of you have seen this nefarious sticker placed upon many publicly visible objects around town. Whether they be phone booths, power junction boxes or street signs – it’s not the most “family friendly” type of viral marketing message I’ve seen recently…

The question that was the most common amongst 411 readers who emailed me was: “Who is responsible for removing such offensive material?”

So, is it the city of Hoboken that is responsible for removing these semi-pornographic messages from our streets? I’d ask the city, but they still have two questions (14th Street Taxi Stand and White Curb Lines) that they haven’t responded to yet – so they’ll just have to continue offending our children until they can catch up with the whirlwind of emails.

PS – if you have images collecting dust on your camera or hard drive – send them in for eventual inclusion on Hoboken411! Please state how you’d like to be credited in your email, and a description – if desired!!
