Pre-Chanukah Shop ‘til You Drop tonight!

Hoboken Hadassah of Hudson County is holding our Pre-Chanukah Shop ‘til You Drop at The Hoboken Historical Museum, 1301 Hudson Street, Hoboken, on Wednesday, November 18th at 7PM. Get an early start on your holiday shopping while enjoying the museum. Admission of $10 includes cocktails and light refreshments, as well as free parking at Little Man Parking, 12th & Shipyard.

Hoboken Hadassah is extending an open invitation to the men and women of our community to join us at our Pre-Chanukah shopping event. Local area merchants will be selling new merchandise including: designer handbags and accessories; jewelry; candles; hand-crafted purses; cosmetics; spa certificates; women’s, baby, kids and men’s clothing and accessories; hand-designed cards; and more! Please note that some vendors may accept cash only.

A portion of the sales at the event will be donated to Hadassah. As the largest volunteer organization and the largest women’s organization in America, Hadassah is committed to strengthening the unity of the Jewish people.

Pre-Payment for the event ($10) is recommended and can be made in advance online or payment can also be accepted at the door.

I’ll do my best to stop by. I love festivals,craft fairs and in town holiday events like these. I’ll just have to leave my office. When I’m supposed to and not stay to late. I will pay at the door. In case. I run late and don’t make it up there in time.

i don’t know from hadassah.

can anyone tell me why jewish women who are NOT religious will only date jewish guys. it’s hard not to categorize that as narrow-minded. this is 2009. even the italians and irish mixed back a century ago say. seems assinine to me.

I don’t know why she wouldn’t date you. Or, I should say: I don’t why THEY wouldn’t date you.

Of course, everyone’s different, I am sure there are Jewish gals who choose The Chosen. It goes the other way, too; a Jewish friend of mine had a massive heartbreak because her Catholic boyfriend dumped her (some years ago) over religion… his mom never liked her because she was Jewish, was very cold to her. In fact, in my single days, I dated a Catholic guy whose super-religious mom (privately) had issues w/my religion. She must have thrown a party when we broke up. But I wouldn’t generalize based on that or any other stories I’ve heard. My hubby isn’t Jewish.

So, not sure why the Jewish ladies have spurned you. Don’t give up if you meet a nice one.
