Canyon of Heroes packed to the gills
Not sure how many of you are already out there celebrating the NY Yankees 2009 World Series Victory Parade – but one Hoboken411 reader who works nearby sent this shot in and said: “It’s already a mob scene. The noise is really loud on the streets and can hear it for many blocks away. Toilet paper tossed all over. WAY more people than at the Giants Parade.”

I made the mistake of going in 1999. It was 30 deep in truants all looking to see “Derek Jee-er.”
It’s also the time when businesses along the parade route can empty their recycling bins from 35 floors up. While standing on the east curb of Broadway just north of Wall, a three ring soft binder landed on my head. It contained a document titled “Fiduciary Responsibilities of Financially Distressed Delaware Corporations.”
