Hoboken to get soaked?
Gulp. Hope we turn out OK!
As mentioned yesterday, our string of nice weather is screeching to a halt, and starting tonight, rain will envelope the area – with potential extended periods of heavy rain – especially starting Saturday afternoon into early Sunday morning (according to yesterdays forecasts). Note that high tides are around 2pm Saturday and shortly after 2am Sunday. The forecast is flip-flopping between 1.5 and 2.5 inches of rain – so it makes sense to pay closer attention to what’s going on in your neighborhood just in case.
It also looks likely that the Yankees game at 8pm may get postponed.
If there are any instances of flooding, please send your photos in to Hoboken411@gmail.com. Hopefully it won’t be a big deal.
More wet weather coming…
Today’s the last of the good days this week – as part of your weekend will be ruined once again as a stormy pattern will invade the area late Friday into Saturday night- with possible heavy rain. Keep an eye on the forecast just in case.
