Annoying morning for a few residents living along Washington Street midtown… another water main break disrupts life once again.

Council Marathon: Would you expect otherwise?

If you’re one of the 40,000+ residents that didn’t catch the 5+ hour council marathon last night – you should take a vacation or sick day to watch the video and read the Hoboken411 reader chat. Then again, you might very well get sick watching it!

Tucker Drugs reopens today

After being shut down as part of the “Operation MedScam” prescription drug sting earlier this week, Tucker Drugs re-opens today at 8:30am. Those that haven’t dropped dead because they didn’t have their meds should get over there in a hurry!


One half of World Series Set!

Congrats to the Philadelphia Phillies for making the World Series for the second year in a row. Do they have a chance against either American League team? Oh, and it seems Phillies fans are already getting their excuses ready before the matchup is even set: “Stankees,” “Billion dollar payroll,” and “A-Roid.” Keep it classy, Philly!

Red Carpet Ribbon Cutting at Movie Theater

Got exactly two emails asking “who was at the Clearview Cinemas Ribbon Cutting? So Hoboken411 reader Uptown Girl sent a few miscellaneous shots in before her camera broke. I heard former Mayor David Roberts got sentimental, and is considering getting back into politics again.

Stop by tonight(Thursday) @ 7PM and cheer for The Red Wings at JFK Stadium in Hoboken for the last game soccer game of the season. The game will be televised on MSG VARSITY Channel 14 at 7:30 and 10:30pm on Friday.
