I am disappointed that the Office of Insurance Fraud Prosecutor’s Medicaid Fraud Control Unit didn’t notify the HPD about this in advance. I have rx’s pending at Tucker and yesterday at 4 pm no one knew anything. I was supposed to pick one up last night. My doctor didn’t know anything. Who was advocating for people who had serious meds awaiting pickup at Tucker and couldn’t contact their doctor after 5 pm yesterday to arrange that the rx’s be transferred? At 4 pm HPD knew nothing and suggested it could be a family emergency, as did my doctor. This created a panic. Also, people with rx’s at Tucker with refills processed already and paid for by insurance but not picked up have to wrestle with insurance companies as to how to fix this. I’m sure doctors are overwhelmed as now every rx at Tucker has to be moved. It would have been nice for the Office of Insurance Fraud Prosecutor’s Medicaid Fraud Control Unit to give the HPD and medical community a heads up in advance so people didn’t have to panic last night. The HPD non emergency person said to me very nicely at 5 pm, “I’m glad to try and help you, Miss, but this really isn’t a law enforcement matter” when had the officer known it was law enforcement related, he would have been better able to assist! There must be a protocol for these situations.
My quesion is if Bobby will be allowed to still be a pharmacist after he posts bail, filling rx’s, and if not, is that the end of Tucker? Does he have another pharmacist?

Like many people uptown, Tucker pharmacy is a great alternative to the box pharmacies that are taking over hoboken. Mordechai was always very kind and attentive. Bobby, has also been very kind, helping out many patient’s even if they did not have the financial resources at times. I feel like I am on the flip side now of a federal investigation saying to see the facts first, when cammarano caused a knee jerk reaction in me with the 10 page document of his indictment. I can only say, that I haven’t seen any recordings or proof just yet. Ironically, last week Bobby had a person come to the pharmacy with stolen script and he called the police in hoboken, who promptly came and arrested the person with a false script. I do not know if that person, or event was a potential set up for him, but he acted appropriately which is not in line with the charges. I do hope that this is not true and that people wait for some facts and the proof (ie witnesses, wiretap etc) to come out.

As much as I cannot condone crime and especially crime that involves the worsening of our health SCARE system, I really feel bad for Bobby and staff. I have been going to Tucker because of the warm and friendly service he provides – treating you like family, not just a number. I wish him, his family and all who work there the best of luck as the case unfolds and hope that this is al one big mistake. All are innocent until proven guilty…

BTW, I have some prescriptions to pick up there – I wonder when they’ll reopen…

Do yourself a HUGE favor and use Willow Pharmacy at 900 Willow (corner of 9th/Willow). It is a family run business for generations, PHENOMENAL & TRUSTWORTHY service and supporting a local business. I have been going there for 20 years and think you should too!

Dr. Clifton Howell, was my Dr. recently when I spent a couple of days in HUMC.
He was nice enough, but didn’t do squat in my opinion to better my health or treat me in any way.
His office is still sending me bills even though my insurance paid him already.
I can’t say as I’m upset he will lose his license/practice etc and maybe go to the hoosegow . it’s behavior like this that helps drive up the cost of healthcare for the rest of us.
Thanks go out to all the defendants for ruining it for us all.

We need a list of honest Hoboken businesses. I will go out of my way to patronize them.
