Hoboken Political Nuggets – 10/13/2009
A few political egg & cheese breakfast mini-sliders for you this morning….
Mayoral Candidate Meet-ups this week
Nathan Brinkman has plans to cut Hoboken spending
According to the Nathan Brinkman for Hoboken Mayor campaign, a press conference is set for this afternoon at 2pm at the upstairs private room at Wild Ginger (518 Washington Street) to introduce a “new policy proposal to cut Hoboken spending.”
I wonder if the plan includes “A moratorium on dishing out jobs to unemployed soccer buddies,” because that will sure help shave off a million taxpayer dollars from the budget!!
I’ll try my best to make the event, but have a tight schedule today – and will provide updates if something extraordinary develops.
Appetizers will be served – plus a guarantee that it will be held indoors in case of inclement weather transpires. “Please come out, meet the candidate and get involved.”
