Hobokenites backpack the world!

10/2/2009:

Here’s a very cool story for you all today. Hoboken resident Jason Castellani (Hoboken411 reader “jacasteli”) updates us all about his exodus from the Mile Square – and the awesome backpacking trip he’s embarked upon! Now that’s what I call living!

Following their true passion

“H411,
Aracely and I recently left Hoboken to set out on a year long backpacking journey through Latin America and Southeast Asia. While living in Hoboken for the last 4 years, we have enjoyed Hoboken411.com coverage and information that is all Hoboken, all day! (411 screen name is jcasteli).

I would like to share our first video with Hoboken’s residents and the best way I can accomplish that is through Hoboken411. Our first video includes footage of Hoboken and our preparations for the trip. Today, it earned Tripfilms video of the day and appears on their homepage along with a review by their editor. Audiences can follow our year long journey at TwoBackpackers.com.

I hope all is well in Hoboken. I miss the political circus so much!

Jason

Of course she is! We just arrived in El Salvador today. It was an adventure getting here and our first land border crossing.

I feel that I am with you guys. Stay well & Safe. The circus is still going on and we are voting for the ‘ringmaster’ again.

It’s kind of funny the way they’re standing at the water’s edge with the caption “LEAVING HOBOKEN.” You can imagine the show getting off to a bang as the sidewalk and fence crumble into the river and they jump away into a waiting boat and start rowing like the dickens.
