By far one of the most non appealing places in Hoboken..It amazes me as to how people just don’t know good food and overrated prices…………just go to Margaritas and all will be well.

Yet somehow they’ve been here for years so they can’t be treating customers that badly. I haven’t eaten there since probably 2003-2004 or so but I remember it being pretty good. Not exactly memorable or anything but certainly adequate.

What’s the obsession with eating there and trying to show up the manager by going when he said it’d be full? There are plenty of other restaurants, just go somewhere else. This sounds like Matty was looking for a fight and got one.

“I looked on Groupon and found a Fri/sat/Sun night offer for $30 that included an appetizer, two entrees and two beverages. It seemed like a good deal, so I bought it for $30.”

Ya think?? Maybe this guy just moved to Jersey from South Dakota or something. Can’t believe someone who’s used to Hoboken could be so clueless.[quote comment=”222185″]Yet somehow they’ve been here for years so they can’t be treating customers that badly. Love this place. We have lived in hoboken awhile and finally dropped in one night. What a great place, pastas are fresh and the sauces are amazing. Their veal chop is out of this world. We always eat way too much but the price cannot be beat. Since they are BYOB we get have some beautiful wines with dinner too. The guys on the staff are great too.
They don’t take reservations which can be annoying but it is well worth the wait.

Had a great meal here last night, and I must share.

Ordered the stuffed artichoke appetizer (DELICIOUS, only I can make it better!!!). The braciole and gnocchi special was excellent as well.

Attentive service, highly recommend.

Well… after 4 years of living here hearing good things about this place I dropped in last night. What a mistake, although I got what was expected, my date didn’t get so lucky. After ordering the Insalata Rugola (for 10 bucks) with chicken (extra), we got the salad 15 mins later with rugola and chicken. When we asked where where was the rest of the salad, it came out. Goats cheese and red peppers, on the side. No olives. we asked for the olives, 6 came out unpitted, on the side. And then the bill came.
17.95 plus 2 x 3 dollar extras. 24 bucks for a chicken salad that we had to make ourselves! turns out they “helped” us out by charging for a chicken app. (pollo saporito), removing all but the chicken, and charging us for the additional items on the Insalata Rugola.
Now this is the first time in at least 5 years I had complained about a meal, but this took the total piss. After 3 re-done bills I managed to get the arugula + chicken for the salad plus 10 bucks for chicken on top. Ridiculous, the one place I will never go back to. 😡
