Nude & Nutty on the Waterfront
Been quite busy lately – and have limited entries in the “Recent Incidents” section to grave or unusual circumstances as of late. Interrupting me this morning is a particularly funny call reported moments ago on the Hoboken411 Live Police and Fire Action Channel:
“333 River Street, man going bezerk in Elevator – stripping off clothes, naked & causing a disturbance. Individual is EDP.” (which usually means emotionally disturbed person). Police were called to the scene, as well as an ambulance. He apparently lived in the building with another person (assuming a woman) – and it appears that he may have had a little too much hot sauce tonight. He was promptly arrested and taken to Police HQ.
Hmmm. I never see these types of bullet-points on fliers for “Luxury Apartment Rentals,” do you?

I found a source at 333 and was told that the guy that bugged out was not really bugging out. The perp was drunk and staying with a friend. He got in the elevator, had an accident in his pants and forgot where he was (as he was tanked) and started to clean himself in the elevator. He got to lobby and someone was to get in and thought the guy was psychotic as who would be cleaning themselves in an elevator? Police were called, guy was arrested.

Would you mind telling me who your source was? I have been petsitting in 333 River St. on and off for about eight years. I know a majority of the workers and tenants. My late boyfriend worked the concierge desk. He was friendly with a majority of the tenants as well as being close to his co-workers. If you don’t want to reply on site. I don’t know what the truth is in this case, but when I was in college, a group of 30 of us came up to Manhattan to visit 5 ad agencies for tours, and we stayed at a nice hotel just beyond Time Square. Of course, we partied every night, and one night, one of the students got so wasted that in the middle of the night/morning he went into the elevator in his not-so-whities, entered the lobby with people all around, went to the wall and went on the wall. A lady screamed, “there’s a big blonde naked man!”. Dude was lucky to not get arrest. We were lucky to not be kicked out.
