Park & Sixth & 411 Billboard!

9/4/2009:

A winning combination!

I’ve been a die-hard regular at Park & Sixth Comfort Food (539 Park Avenue) since they opened.

From the very friendly and accommodating owners and staff, to the out-of-this world sandwiches, prepared food and cheeses – Park & Sixth has hit a home run in Hoboken (it helps that they’re Yankee fans too!). Everyone else that has tried their food has agreed!

Anyway, they decided to do some street level marketing by trying out the phone booth ads downtown – and were kind enough to quote Hoboken411.com when I told them how much I enjoyed their version of the Roast Beef, Mutz and Gravy sandwiches!

Recently moved into the neighborhood from across town and found myself in Park & 6th for the first time yesterday. Ordered the sandwich (un)creatively titled “Park & 6th”, which is the brisket and gravy concoction mentioned above. Took about 15 minutes for them to make it, but it was worth the wait. As I was eating it at home a few minutes later, I tried to save some for my wife to try, but it was too good, and I ended up eating it all myself. I highly recommend it. Will have to try another sandwich next time I’m there.

I like Fiore’s Roast Beef and Mutz better… But Park and Sixth’s is good, too.

Knocked back a cuban sandwich at P&6 this week…another solid win. Delicious.

I thought lunch on the first Saturday of college football would be a good opportunity to check this place out.

That braised brisket, muzz and gravy sandwich was LEGIT!
