Do you still love Mr. Obama?

9/4/2009:

Downward Spiral

One thing I’ve noticed a great deal lately – is the number of emails I’m received out of the blue (i.e., not in response to any story published on Hoboken411) – about the rising level of dissatisfaction with our current President Barack Obama.

So many that I’m having a tough time keeping up with them.

As you can see from RasmussenReports.com – his approval ratings are steadily going down.

Propaganda to affect Hoboken Schools & more

The overwhelmingly consistent subject of these emails are in reference to this “propaganda” that the Obama administration is spewing out. Take a look at some of these links and videos and decide for yourself….

  • Obama has taken the opportunity to mandate that the public school system put in place a learning program which forces kids (including Hoboken) nationwide to focus on ways, as class lessons, to help Obama’s government policies he wishes to pass as official policy for the nation. Instead of focusing the studies on advancing the learning of math, science, and technology, this is being put into place. Something which would actually take time away from the student’s opportunity to excel in the core subjects they are now falling behind in competition to emerging nations.
  • More Obama Indoctrination going on in schools (SCARY!):
  • Celebrities pledging to be “servants” to Obama? WTF? (3:17 and 3:55):
  • And lastly – trying to persuade the National Endowment for the Arts (Ridiculous!):

Of course – this is above and beyond the trillions of bailout dollars, and the most insane national health care plan.

What do you think about all of this?

“Vladimir Putin, Russia’s prime minister, on Friday said the Obama administration’s decision to scrap plans for a missile defence shield in Europe was a positive step – but warned that he now expects other concessions by the US to follow.”

Reuters felt this quote from Putin was important:

“I expect that after this correct and brave decision, others will follow, including the complete removal of all restrictions on the transfer of high technology to Russia and activity to widen the membership of the World Trade Organisation to (include) Russia, Kazakhstan and Belarus,” Putin said.

MR,

You sure like to talk about their religion a lot.

You sound a lot like the people that claimed that Bush believed in the end times. Same loose association with religious belief. Same willful ignorance of what they actually DO.

Iran has a crappy government that will eventually topple of its own weight. They have absolutely no ability to project forced other than sending money to others to create mischief.

Then again neither Egypt or Saudi Arabia have any ability to project force beyond their borders. How you think they are going to engage in a military conflict with Iran I have no idea. They going to send a flotilla of gunboats across the Persian Gulf?

and you get your detailed briefings on iran’s current missile guidance technology from…where? and you really believe the only reason NATO members wanted missile defense in Poland was to guard against attacks from iran? really? because iran has been shouting that poland should cease to exist right? ha ha ha doh! what a marooon!
let mme draw you a picture here mr rocket scientist…iran, venezuala, and putin the angry KGB napoleon complex nut who can’t forgive the US for defeating his former USSR. do you think russia needs oil from iran or do you think russia wants a lunatic with nukes threatening US allies? same in venezuala perhaps?
or do you think it’s strange that CHINA has occupied former soviet bases in cuba, and china is funding chavez’s purchases of russian arms/nuclear technology? the threats to this country are not only in the middle east. the threats are real and they never left. actually they have been moving into our backyard but you idiots elected someone who WANTS to see the US weakened.

Before there was Hoboken411, there was the Argument Clinic. They’re EXACTLY the same.

I get the feeling we won’t agree on much, but that was bloody funny. Thanks for the laugh.

MR, the biggest problem with these defense shields is the same as the Maginot line. A small leap in technology can instantly nullify a huge, expensive project like this.

Besides, if nuclear war broke out with Russia or China no defense shield is going to get all of them, and it would only take a handful of warheads out of a thousand to completely cripple the US.

Iran doesn’t even have a nuke, and they are even further away from having an ICBM. Not even North Korea has ICBM capability.

Like I said, this is a global problem and it’s not really helping if we’re playing policeman for everyone else on our own dime. Europe has more to worry about from Iran than we do. So the reality is, we don’t need a huge installation, just something that can catch couple missles or re-rentry vehicles tops, and they already have that far along in development, airborne laser platforms.

On our dime? Last time I checked, most folks in this country didn’t pay a dime.

Point is, the leaders in the Middle East see your point of view, Brian, as non-existent. When a group as powerful as they are have something in mind that they believe will happen, it happens. See 9/11. How absurd was that?

There is a calendar the religions of Islam follow. Been around for a while. This is why they’re trying to do something now. Not my opinion. According to their calendar. I hope i doesn’t happen. But they believe it. But not all. Which is why it is my opinion that the fracture of the M.E. will pit the obvious against each other.

Obama, on the other hand, seems to be tail-between-legs when it comes to Russia and dismantling the long range protection of the U.S. the missile shield would’ve provided – especially on the 70th anniversary of the Soviet invasion of Poland.
