LaBruno steps aside gracefully

LaBruno wants no part of current administration

Former Hoboken Councilwoman Terry “Holla” LaBruno, who was appointed Director of Health and Human Services by former Mayor Peter “out on bail” Cammarano – officially resigned from the position. Her last day is this Friday.

Instead, she accepted a job teaching math at St. Peter’s Preparatory School in Jersey City, NJ.

The city is currently accepting resumes for those interested in that job, and a few others. Little birdies in town say that you shouldn’t bother trying, because the current “acting” administration already knows exactly who they’re going to appoint – and that the “transparent” process is just for show.

Be nice if John Pope returned to his old position, and Jim Ronga came back. So many nice things were said at the City Council Meetings about Mr. Ronga.

She is a good math teacher. Wishing her good health and success in her new teaching position at St. Peter’s Prep. She should be in her ‘comfort zone’ now.

How fitting. So she’s going from a position of bullying townspeople to bullying schoolkids. Good riddance and God help the kids at St. Peter’s.
