What was Cammarano thinking?
Sometimes I wonder what is on people’s mind exactly when their picture is taken…
Two weeks prior to trouble
Before Peter Cammarano was arrested for allegedly accepting bribes – he was doing “Mayoral” things, such as performing marriages, helping kids at the park – and attending memorials such as the Annette Illing Dedication at Pier A Park just 14 days prior to “A-Day.”
The charges against him showed that he had begun his dastardly deeds already – so I can only imagine what was really going through his mind day-to-day.
In this exact same situation – perhaps these thoughts would come to anyone’s mind:
- “Jeez – I love the pay and kickbacks, but these events blow!”
- “Damnit! I hate pretending! I’d rather look greedy for more Benjamins!”
- “Hey, at least I didn’t have to change my suit for this!”
- “People don’t realize how troubling it is to be “good” and “bad” at the same time!”
In the picture above – what could have been on Cammarano’s mind?
