I live a block away and just walked by around 5pm and I didn't see anything different. Being it's so small I think it could come down in no time.
That was an understatement. It looks like Pic-up-sticks now.

I was home today and the metal door was open and it looked like just a shell inside and a dumpster was outside. When the door was open I could see the place didn't even have a roof.
It's really strange the former Orange Kitchen building has sat for almost 2 years untouched. Just down the block the former hardware store closed, was demolished, and a residential building put up, all in a matter of a few short months. Anyone know what the deal is? Are we destined to look at this eyesore forever?
It's simple. Every time one of their slave laborers collapsed and died from heat exhaustion, they buried them in the backyard under the dark of night. Now they've got to relocate all those bodies to the basement of Yeung II before they can start construction. Trying to explain 300 skeletons can really put a hold on development plans.

I heard a rumor somewhere that the doofus from Madison bought it with the equally doofistic short, muscle guy from 10th/Willow and they were going to do a migraine-inducing "martini lounge" (ooh ahh don't all arrive at once) but somewhere it was rumored that the Madison guy started hitting on the waitress from 10th/willow who the muscle head dude was already boinking and they had a falling out of sorts.
Actually, that's a pretty awesome story danzig!! IF it's true. Madison dude is married, and 10th and Willow...last I heard (long ago though!) was pretty serious with someone. But, gossip is all good, so keep it coming.

Bottom line, either one of them could afford to open it on their own, which is really depressing.
