Oops, I guess I should have posted that it was 2 summers ago, so yes they may have cleaned up since but I never went back.
Sorry should have made that known.
Gracias. And I’ll take a look at the lemon/lime situation. THANKS!
Also do the Tony Bourdain test. Judge the bathrooms. A bathroom is easy to keep clean, a kitchen is alot harder to keep clean plus it’s far less public.

I LOVE their chicken fingers. I normally don’t eat this kind of food let alone feel passionate about it but they were that good! I have never heard any complaints although I have not been back in the kitchen.

My take on it is, you have to live life. You can’t be so paranoid about certain things.
KS,
If you are thinking of eating there, I’d head to the rooftop and order a drink that requires a lemon/lime and watch the bartender make it and check out the fruit tray. That would be the best indication if they’ve cleaned up.

If everything looks clean and the bar isn’t sticky, come back here and post it. I love the rooftop and location but got skeeved out when I was there.

If they’ve cleaned it up, I’d certainly go back there. Keep me posted.
i’ve eaten there and enjoyed the food. i don’t think fruit on the rooftop is a fair guage of whether or not the kitchen is clean. i’ve seen the kitchen while there on a weekend evening (after it’s closed) and the kitchen was immaculately clean and in order. so i don’t see why it would be bad during business hours.

maybe it’s the way it used to be, or maybe fruit outside attracts lots of flies in a town like hoboken?
