Great sandwiches at Joe’s Prime Meats!

7/14/2009:

Did you know?

Deli Sandwiches are most certainly a staple food choice in Hoboken. Often heard in the same debate are Lisa’s, Vito’s, Luca Brasi’s, Fiore’s and M&P Biancamano’s – but it seems to me, that many folks don’t realize that Joe’s Prime Meats (918 Washington) also has a nice sandwich menu too!

Many residents who live uptown, are often frustrated with the lesser food choices compared to downtown Hoboken. Now especially since Biancamano’s is closed for vacation this week – why not give Joe’s a try for your sandwich fix? They also do great breakfast sandwiches as well (Hoboken411 approved, too!)

Now is more time than ever to support local, family-owned businesses. So swing by Joe’s and let us know what you think!

(PS – I’ve been meaning to suggest to Joe that he “modify” his business name to: “Joe’s Prime Meats & Delicatessen” for a while – next time I see him with his dog Hershey – I’ll mention it!)

Great sandwiches and a great GUY, This place is so overlooked as a lunch sandwich or breakfast sandwich place but in reality you get a nice bite to eat at a fair price. This has always been a family run business and it shows in the pride Joe takes in running it!

“Lesser” food places? I don’t think so. Fewer, maybe. Joe’s is great though. Sandwiches and cold cuts. And watch how well his dog catches the meat slices he throws.

I’ve purchased cold-cuts from there. They were good.

But I bet that cold-cuts nestled between two pieces of bread and additions and condiments would be even better.
