Forgot to mention that you can tour the Yankee Ferry (13th and Sinatra) tonight from 6-10pm. See ridiculously “tall” promotional flier here.
I mentioned on this very site two months ago exactly how NOT to promote things online (i.e., mile high graphics) – I suppose the message didn’t get across (see that after the jump). C’mon Victoria and Richard! You have people helping you…

Open House this Sunday!
Artists Victoria & Richard MacKenzie-Childs will be opening their home on the water for visitors this Sunday, June 14th from 6-9pm!
“Celebrate 102 years of history, tour the vessel and enjoy refreshments. Purchase new works from Victoria & Richard – Proceeds will benefit the Hoboken Historical Museum…”

A while ago – I posted a little “primer” on how to properly submit promotional graphics or fliers for websites like Hoboken411. I do understand that Victoria and Richard live a different lifestyle that us “digital” folks – so I can cut them a break, since they probably didn’t see that post.
But please take a look at how ridiculously tall this graphic is!! Amusing, quite frankly!

Too bad The Yankee Ferry is a house, and not a bar like The Frying Pan @ Pier 66.

Went to check out the art at the ferry, tonight. It was nice.
The ship itself, with all of the distinct rooms and furnishings, was kinda cool, too. So was the view from the outside. There was a hammock at the top of the ship, a perfect spot for a breeze and a view of the city.

I 2nd that homeworld, and if i am not mistaking, the entire waterway the separates ny and nj is technically NJ waters, hence if pier 66 can have a boat bar why cant we?
