NJ Pick 6 Drawing Tonight!

No top prize winner yet in 2009
From time to time, I like publishing reminders when the Mega Millions lottery jackpot reaches epic proportions… Hoping that we can have a big winner in Hoboken.
I’ve never mentioned the Pick 6 Lottery before, because the big jackpots “pale” in comparison. However, I’m mentioning it now because there hasn’t been a winner for this lottery game since December 29th, 2008 – over five months!. An amazing streak!
The Pick 6 Lottery, which is drawn twice a week (on Mondays and Thursdays) – has top prize odds of about 1 in 14,000,000 – “easy” compared to the astronomical odds of 1 in 174,000,000 for the Mega game.
Tonight’s annuity jackpot is $24.2 million dollars.
(If you’re not a regular player – and win tonight – don’t forget where you heard about it! wink, wink)

If I win this, I will make a tremendous donation to 411. It is one of the few sites in the world that aren’t full of sh*t.

I thought this was funny – a person emailed Hoboken411 and asked if the person who won the Pick Six earlier this month was “a single male..”
She’ll have to head over to Denville, NJ to hunt down the winner!
“A Pick 6 Lotto ticket that was sold in Morris County has won the top prize of $24.25 million for the drawing held on Thursday, June 4, 2008 . The Pick 6 Lotto jackpot now resets to $2 million for the drawing on Monday, June 8th.
New Jersey Lottery Acting Executive Director William T. Jourdain announced that only one of the 1,446,830 tickets sold for the Thursday, June 4 drawing matched all six numbers drawn. The winning numbers were: 07, 21, 25, 26, 30, and 46. The winning ticket was purchased at Alejo’s Deli & Catering, located at 383 East Main Street in Denville.
“We are thrilled that the winning jackpot ticket was sold at Alejo’s Deli & Catering ,” said Jourdain. “For selling this ticket, they will receive a bonus check for $2,000. Overnight, they have become yet another ‘lucky location’ for a very fortunate winner.”
